During a routine press briefing on Tuesday, a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry, Guo Jiakun, addressed reports about Ukrainian drone companies looking to collaborate with Japanese firms. Guo highlighted that Japan has been actively expanding its military capabilities over recent years. This includes the development of medium- and long-range offensive capabilities, easing restrictions on the export of lethal weapons, broadening the operational scope of its Self-Defense Forces, and forging stronger security ties with nations outside the immediate region.
