SACRAMENTO, Calif.—Nissan and LiCAP Technologies are joining forces to reshape the way electric vehicle batteries are made. The companies’ new partnership focuses on LiCAP’s innovative dry electrode process, which replaces harmful chemicals with a cleaner, more efficient method.
The move supports Nissan’s broader sustainability goals by cutting emissions, reducing waste, and speeding up production.
“This collaboration is a game-changer for battery technology,” said LiCAP CEO Dr. Linda Zhong. “Working with Nissan, we can deliver greener, more powerful batteries that benefit both drivers and the planet.”
